Requirements for Membership - There are two levels of ASCPM membership. Regular members are graduates of APAC’s Certified Public Manager or Arkansas Governmental Manager program who have attained the CPM or AGM designation. Regular members pay annual dues of $45.00. A graduate of the CPM program may become a regular member by payment of annual dues and completing a membership form (select the Membership Form PDF Document above). The $45.00 payment also includes membership as a Fellow in the American Academy of Certified Public Managers (AACPM). Those who are enrolled in APAC’s Certified Public Manager program are eligible for Associate membership. An associate membership allows all society privileges except voting rights. Associate members pay annual dues of $20.00 per year, and may upgrade to a Regular ASCPM membership upon attaining their CPM designation and paying a $25.00 fee.
A great benefit of being a Certified Public Manager® in Arkansas is that UALR offers a discounted rate, which is currently $95.00, instead of the normal rate of $195.00 for a CPM class, for CPM graduates wanting to take a CPM class they missed or as a refresher. All that is required is to mark on the registration form that you are a CPM, and APAC will apply the special rate.
